Week 7 Strategy: Core Plays

Updated: Oct 20, 2019

*Names in Aqua are my Weekly "Gut" calls that numbers are saying for them to go off a lot more than the public is realizing. AKA Above Average GPP Differentiators

QB Core: M.Ryan, L.Jackson, J.Allen

QB Secondary Core: R.Wilson, D.Watson, K.Murray, J.Goff, D.Jones

QB Dart Throws: , G.Minshew, J.Brissett, A.Dalton

Notes: This is a deep week for QB especially in terms of cash viable options. When looking for consistency with a great floor/ceiling mix look no further than Matt Ryan who has now thrown for over 300 Yards in every single game this season. Crazy. Jackson and Wilson are poised to lead the way in a likely shootout in what should be a really fun game to watch. Normally when we think SEA/BAL we naturally would think of a defensive struggle but not this year. Both defenses have been beat up, especially their secondaries. BAL is more documented with all their injuries, but SEA's main weakness is the long ball. They are 28th in the league in allowing 15+ yard completions. This be a great week for M.Brown to return from injury. Watson has been killing it lately and shapes up for another solid week in a matchup vs. IND that should reach close to 50 combined points. We then have Josh Allen who gets to face the worst defense by literally almost every metric in MIA. Even when adjusting for schedule, the Dolphins rank 30th vs QB. Buffalo is projected to score 10 more points than their season scoring average, that should give you a pretty good idea of what Vegas thinks. We have a rookie matchup in the NYG/ARI game that has a 50.5 implied point total with a lot of fantasy options to pick from. Both QBs very much in play, especially GPPs.

Additional Notes: Added Saturday Night

Something to keep in mind: J.Brissett has posted QB1 numbers in 75% of his starts the last month. The TEX Pass D is down several members of its secondary and have allowed QB1 performances in 5 of 6 weeks this szn.

RB Core: L.Fournette, D.Cook, C.Carson
