The Wire: Week 7

QBs

Sam Darnold – If he was dropped in your league go ahead and get him. Darnold balled out in his return against the Cowboys throwing for 300+ yards & 2 TDs. After he plays the Patriots this week he has a very favorable schedule the rest of the way.

Ryan Tannehill – Personally am not a fan of him, & even less so in the Titants offense. However, anytime there is a starting QB on the wire you have to take a look especially in a deeper league. Don’t expect game breaking stats out of him going forward, but he is competent enough to give you 200 yds with a TD or 2 & some yards on the ground giving him a nice floor.

Kirk Cousins – I hope you picked him up last week before his matchup with Philly as mentioned in our week 6 wire piece. Cousins had his best game of the season tossing 4 TDs. Looking ahead at his schedule for the rest of the season, the Vikings should find themselves in games where they will have to air it out.

Gardner Minshew – I’ve written about him for the last few weeks and if you didn’t pick him up now may be your last & best chance. If an owner in your league dropped Minshew because of the poor performance against the Saints now is your last chance to snag him. Here is his schedule the remainder of the season: CIN, NYJ, HOU, IND, TEN, LAC, OAK, ATL, IND.
