The Wire: Week 6

QBs

Gardner Minshew – If you haven’t picked him up yet, please do not wait any longer. Go get him NOW! Last week I stated that he offers a safe floor, which still holds true, but looking at the remainder of his schedule this season made me realize there is a lot of upside on the table. As stated in yesterday’s article when writing about Dede, the following teams are who the Jaguars matchup with for the remainder of the regular season: NO, CIN, NYJ, HOU, IND, TEN, LAC, OAK, ATL, IND.

Kirk Cousins – He finally woke up and threw the damn ball last week and it resulted in his best game so far this season. Cousins threw for 300 yards for the first time this season in addition to 2 TDs vs. the Giants. He gets another great matchup this week at home vs. the banged up Eagles secondary in what should be a fairly high scoring game.

Teddy Bridgewater – TEDDY, TEDDY, TEDDY! New Orleans finally decided to unleash Teddy last weekend against TB and man did it pay off. Teddy looked the best he’s looked in a long long time. With Drew Brees being out the next couple of weeks feel free to pick up Teddy. He goes on the road to face JAX but they will likely continue to be without Ramsey. However, after that he does get a tough matchup vs. Chicago.
