Ryan Fitzpatrick: Fitzmagic has continued to do for the FF community what he’s done the last few seasons, and that’s be a decent fantasy streamer when desperate. If you’re still alive in the fantasy football playoffs and don’t like your QBs matchup, then you might just want to take a deeper look at Fitzmagic. Fitzmagic and the Dolphins host the atrocious Cincinnati Bengals at home this week in what should be a back n’ forth sloppy shootout. He has scored 20+ fantasy points in 3 of his last 4 matchups and has thrown a minimum of 37 times in those last 4 games too. Look for Fitzmagic to continue to roll at home this weekend.
Andy Dalton: On the other side of this game is a QB who hasn’t had as much success recently. Dalton has failed to score over 15+ fantasy points in his last 3 starts, but if there was a week to do it it would be this one against the Dolphins. Per PFF, the Dolphins have the worst pass rush in the NFL and the 2nd worst coverage defense only ahead of the Arizona Cardinals.
Mike Boone: The injuries to the MIN backfield have opened up a role for the talented backup RB, Mike Boone. First it was Dalvin, then it was Mattison, and then it was Dalvin once again who got hurt. Boone finally saw his first extended opportunity of the season against the Chargers and he made the most of it. On 13 carries Boone had 56 yards and 2 TDs. To close out the season he is going to be in the bell cow role for the Vikings against the Packers & Bears.
