Stephen Strasburg: The one & only ELITE arm throwing today. He gets a matchup with the Cards who have started to swing the bat well, but Stras has been rolling over the last month. He has had 5 straight QS aided by a 35.8% K rate. The weather is only going to help him in his quest for continued success tonight as the wind will be blowing in.

Secondary Options

Jose Berrios: My favorite play of the night just because the upside for the price is screaming at us over on FD (8.5), while on DK (10.2) he is priced as the second highest behind Stras. Berrios is facing a White Sox team who strikes out 25.9% of the time vs. RHP! In his 4 starts against the White Sox this season these are Berrios’ stats: 27IP, 3.00 ERA, 25 K’s.

Robbie Ray: He got absolutely rocked his last time out vs. the Mets, but tonight he gets a good chance for a bounce back game. Tonight he squares off against the Marlins & that’s likely going to make Ray the chalk play of the night. Marlins surprisingly don’t strike out all that much vs LHP (20%), but they don’t have a lot of power either (LISO .163). Ray’s only issues as of late have been the long ball so feel free to hedge against him tonight. Berti, Castro, Cooper all make for a solid choice.

Cole Hamels: Other than Suarez, Aquino, & Ervin (last 2 have cooled off a bit) the Reds don’t hit lefties all that well. What Hamels also has workin
