The "ELITE" Tier

Jacob DeGrom: The best & rightfully the most expensive arm on the slate. He's faced the Braves already three times this season & has recorded 7 or more K's in all matchups while allowing 3 earned runs or less. DeGrom has been as close to unhittable as you can be since the break. wOBA under .230, ISOs under .105 to both sides of the plate. Oh, and sprinkle that in with a 30.7% K rate. Think it's safe to say the DeGrominator is locked in and should be played without hesitation. Lets hope his high price tag throws others off so we can take advantage.

Lance Lynn: Should challenge DeGrom as the highest scoring arm on the slate tonight. Lynn has been incredible all season and owns a very nice K rate of his own (27.1%). The only speed bump he has faced all year have been lefties and the White Sox have only one of consequence in Moncada. If Lynn can avoid getting into any trouble with Moncada tonight he should be able to cruise right on through as the White Sox strike out a ton vs. righties (24.3%). One thing to watch out for would be the wind blowing out to RF but I think Lynn will be able to overcome that.

Jack Flaherty: As Adam said in his last write up of Flaherty “He's been ridiculous over the last month+. It doesn't even matter the opponent he's been mowing everyone down. His price has finally caught up, that’s the downside here.” Flaherty gets pitchers’ weather tonight in STL, he owns the highest K% rate since the break at 33.6% and faces the Rockies who struggle on the road.
