MLB Takeoff 9/3: Two Different Slates

Note: The Boogie Factor has officially been launched. I want to give you a better understanding about this metric. It's something that we've been working on since the end of 2019 season. It's a metric that takes every single factor into account. We are talking about EVERYTHING. Exit velocity, Average batted ball distance, weather, stadium, air density, expected wOBA, not only ISO, but expected weighted ISOs, K%, matchup, XwOBA, XFIP, Money Lines, Oddsmakers expectations, etc. There isn't one category that will be unaccounted for. The only * I would put for now, is give it time to soak in a larger 2020 sample and we should be seeing amazing results for the rest of the season.

**We're gearing up for our first 2020 podcast coming soon! (sorry for the delay, just waiting on a shipment to come in). We'll be collecting any questions you may have until then. Here is the place to drop in your questions

For today's action we have 2 completely different slates. Draftkings main slate is a 6 gamer starting at 4 o'clock, & Fanduel's main slate is a 4 gamer starting at our normal time. We are going to see a lot higher ownership numbers than we are used to today because of the concentrated slate, but don't worry as we'll find a way to get the edge.

Primary Arms

C.Kershaw: Aside from his 1 bad start against the Giants this year, Kershaw has been as good as ever despite the drop in velocity. In his other 4 starts he has a combined 25.2 IP, 27 K's & allowed only 2 ER (1.80 ERA on the season). Tonight Kershaw will face the DBacks (IRT 3.2) who he already blanked on Opening Day across 5.2 IP & now just recently traded away their best hitter (Marte). I'm hoping the high price tag (FD 10.9K; DK 10.3K) on both sites suppresses some ownership because Kershaw is as safe of a play that you can ask for.

M.Clevinger: His first start with the Padres is going to be against a team he faced plenty over the last
