MLB Takeoff 9/18:

Note: The Boogie Factor has officially been launched. I want to give you a better understanding about this metric. It's something that we've been working on since the end of 2019 season. It's a metric that takes every single factor into account. We are talking about EVERYTHING. Exit velocity, Average batted ball distance, weather, stadium, air density, expected wOBA, not only ISO, but expected weighted ISOs, K%, matchup, XwOBA, XFIP, Money Lines, Oddsmakers expectations, etc. There isn't one category that will be unaccounted for. The only * I would put for now, is give it time to soak in a larger 2020 sample and we should be seeing amazing results for the rest of the season.

Primary Arms

Z.Plesac: He had the worst start of his season last time out, but it comes as no surprise as he faced the Twins (7 IP, 5 K's, 5 ER) & he had faced the likes of the Royals & Pirates in his 1st few starts. Tonight he should get right back on track as he faces the weak hitting DET team that Bieber tore through last night. Plesac owns a solid 25.5% K rate of his own so look for him to pile up the strikeouts tonight.

T.Glasnow: The flame throwing ace gets a juicy matchup against the O's tonight who are still without their best hitter Santander. Glasnow has really turned his season around now owning an xFIP of 2.98 & a K% of 37.4%. In his most recent matchup against the O's last month he struck out 13 of them over 7 innings & allowed 1 ER.
