Pitcher Rankings

The Ace Class

C. Sale: Priced fairly low today, likely the most owned pitcher the day. I have him as the best raw point total and will be high on my player pool.

A. Nola: He might be my main go-to pitcher for today. I'm surprised and pleased that as of this morning his ownership was a mere 4% in FD, and somewhere around 9-10% in DK. I don't know how but wow do I hope it holds. He's going against the Tigers who again and again I have picked on whenever there is a Righty facing them. The best pivot off of Sale and by a decent amount for me when factoring in all aspects of price/matchup/weather.

T.Bauer: The highest priced pitcher today. I will have him but I'll at most just be matching the field if not getting less. I love Bauer and the TOR bats do K the 9th most even against RHPs so by all means play him as much as you want.

S.Strausburg: The Rockies are bad away from Coors. I bet you have heard that before huh? Well did you know just how bad? 30th in wOBA, 25th in ISO,and dead last in wRC+. It seems hard to believe with a lineup that has a good amount of talent on it.

Secondary Options

C.Smith: This is one of those that is hard to predict what will happen tonight. I love smith, he's a good pitcher but today could be a little tricky for him. He has given up 13 of his 16 homeruns this year on the road. I think the best approach here is to match the field on him and use hitters like Abreu, Moncada, Castillo as a mini stack and 1-offs.

C.Archer: STL has the 8th highest K rate vs. RHPs and all their advanced numbers are bottom 3 in the league. That being said, their lineup is super cheap and Archer does give up a lot of power. A hedge stack is just fine.
