Notes will be posted throughout the day.
Yeah I'm doing even the Early Slate for you degenerates
Quick notes: Greinke and Castillo are the best pitchers going, I keep getting some Soroka sprayed around as well.
Tanaka is the rare Chalky bad play for this slate. He's been struggling terribly and this isn't a good matchup at all for him. Name brand and low price will have people gravatating to him, I will doing the opposite. Not only do I see it as the smart play, but it's even the logical play (stacking the D-Backs) with so many people playing Tanaka. Guess what team has the 2nd highest team ISO on the road this season? Yup, The D-Backs. Can Tanaka say "F you Adam watch this" and throw like the 2014 Tanaka? I guess so, but probability says that Tanaka and his 20% K rate this season have fallen off mightily.
Prediction: The winning stack will be a CIN/ARI Combo.
The Reds are in a low-key fantastic spot. Their going against Dario Agrazal whose 6.47 xFIP shows just how lucky he's been with his 3.24 ERA. Also, his 9.6 K% is not going to do him any good much longer. .
My hedge plays will be NYY stack incase they get to Greinke, which is always a possibility, and maybe a PIT lefty stack since Castillo can get hit by them from time to time.
Feel free to throw in some TOR/KC stacks mixed in with a ARI/CIN stack.
The hitting weather is on in the ATL/WSH and CIN/PIT game. It only makes me have a SLIGHT interest in Tanaka and slight decrease off of Castillo. By this I mean I now will have Tanaka in only 7% of my lineups, and I'm decreasing Castillo from 20-60% in DK to now 20-53% in lineup builds.
